Dr. Alessandro Magnani holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. (cum laude) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. His early work on compact thermal modeling for electrothermal simulations resulted in several collaborative publications.

In 2018, he joined imec Leuven as a postdoctoral researcher and later as an R&D engineer. His contribution was on GaN technology development, focusing on the thermal/electrical characterization and layout of lateral devices.

Currently, Dr. Magnani is a Design Engineer at Semi Zabala, where he works on chip design across various voltage platforms.
