Semi Zabala officially inaugurates its new factory in Euskadi

Last Thursday, the official inauguration of Semi Zabala’s new factory took place, a milestone in the development of the technological and industrial sector in Euskadi.

The event was attended by investors, representatives from the Basque Government, the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, and the City Council of Donostia-San Sebastián, who had the opportunity to see firsthand the facilities and processes that will mark the start of semiconductor production.

This new plant represents a decisive step towards consolidating local technological capabilities, as well as creating a solid and sustainable value chain in the semiconductor sector, which is strategic for the future of the Basque and European economy.

The event was also an opportunity to thank all the institutions, companies, and people who contributed to making this project possible.
